  1. Let us know what you think of the Surface Duo 2. I've been using it as my daily driver phone since its release and have to say that the multitasking is my favorite capability. When paired with the managed work profile and secure sign-in from Edge, I can do a lot of work-related tasks that previously required a laptop in my case.

  2. I love it so much I will never want another kind of device.

  3. It is not a companion device – but it needs a companion device! It needs a smartwatch to handle the notifications. Maybe pair the SD3 with an optional affordable smartwatch without all the fitness features, just to handle notifications and phone calls well. Also, you missed using Swiftkey in "laptop mode" which is a really overlooked mode of using the SD. I love using it like that for Whatsapp and other social media. Also, when marketing the SD, the single most common usecase might be following a link in some social media post – and then doing some research and then commenting back on that post.

  4. Are you from Microsoft

  5. [surface duo {challenge}] : …what does opening it (not) do?!…anything goes…

  6. Duo 2 rocks thanks Microsoft

  7. ok now release it with Windows and thinner bezels

  8. I want to click my slim pen 2 and Take a Photo, NOT just open apps. Make this work.

  9. Maybe keep it in stock when you promote it Microsoft!

  10. Hello
I have a new hinge design proposal for the surface duo 3, and it solves important "shortcomings" that many users and critics pointed out regarding the functionality of this unique form factor; without any changes to the dual screen aspect of it, or any of the current functionality of the surface duo 2.
My proposal also includes a developed package of software and UI functionality concepts, "must" hardware module upgrades (including the slim pen) ; and also advertising campaign concept.
How can i collaborate with Microsoft?

  11. 2:45 I wonder if that applies to dual monitors vs single monitors in general 🙂

  12. All day battery life isn't what I get…However, this is a great device that I can manage the lack of all day battery life.

  13. And yet it comes with android instead of Windows on ARM

  14. I love my Duo 2 and I find it very productive and it is a game changer in many ways. I also use the Surface Earbuds and Slim Pen 2.However, it is now a secondary device because I need a better camera so I use my S22 Ultra that has an incredible camera and I still get full use from Phone Link

  15. I can see the potential, but the link app still has some way to go, in my case, a Jabra Engage 65 DECT headset that is a proper heavy-duty device, works horribly when using the link app on a mobile phone call via my PC. People often say it cracks and the audio is horrible, I tried the link app several times, but it always is a bit of a mixed bag. So even though the surface duo 2 hardware seems great, and the android implementation also seems interesting, I think it is let down by the link app. The price in the UK is not bad, £860 on Microsoft retail store, for a Snapdragon 888 and dual screens, it is in line with higher end devices that are single screen.

  16. Watching this on a Duo 2. Daily driver.

  17. Is it waterproof?

  18. The Dutch title of this video is not translated correctly. The video title in English is Surface Duo 2 | Etc.., but in Dutch the product name itself is translated to Binnenoppervlak Duo 2.

  19. It's just too expensive! And even more so in the UK.

  20. Been using the original Duo for about 18months now. I don't think I could go back to a small screen. Having two apps open feels so natural now. Microsoft is definitely on the right track, but the world is probably just not ready for this advanced tech. We'll have to wait until Apple releases a similar-but-yet-slightly-different design with a lot of fanfare before the masses will be like omfg-where-has-this-been-all-my-life-Apple-is-sooooo-innovative!! Probably will happen in the next 3 to 5 years or so.

  21. If this ran iOS it would absolutely dominate the business mobile market. Incredible design

  22. So no front facing camera for teams meetings? that seams like a massive oversight.

  23. Do you know what u guys need to do? Manufacture Surface Duo 2 in India… That will bring down the cost drastically and you can sell it in India…

  24. I really hope Surface Duo comes to US Wireless Carriers. Would love to outfit my team on these via Verizon.
